Safepack VCI Tablet SP-MTB is formed from VCI Powder. It is an efficient and dry method of protection. It is designed to protect ferrous and non-ferrous metals (multi-metals), electrical and electronic components and assemblies from corrosion / oxidation when packed in enclosed containers, boxes, plastic bags, cartons and cabinets. It provides a mono-ionic protective layer on metal surfaces guarding against oxidation and corrosion.

SAFEPACK VCI Tablets SP-MTB offer a very convenient and effectivemethod of protecting metals from corrosion within a package. They canbe especially dispensed into the package either manually or with adispenser. It is available in specially designed porous breathable andheat-sealable paper pouches, which allows VCI vapors to defuse easily and in a controlled manner foroptimum protection. The VCI tablets contain Hi-tech Volatile Corrosioninhibiting chemicals, which have a property of evaporating into thesurrounding enclosure. The released vapor deposits on the metal surfaceand forms a protective mono-ionic molecular layer which providesmulti-metal protection and protects from corrosion. It thus enableseffective and long term protection of ferrous and non-ferrous metalsagainst corrosion under any adverse conditions including contaminantsin air such as hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, ammonia or acidrain. Effective protection is achieved by placing tablets in thevicinity of painted/unpainted metal parts and by using it along withVCI Paper in packaging of large machines and in large volume packaging.It gives protection also to hard to reach areas like drilled holes,crevices etc.

METHOD OF USAGE :

• Insert the VCI Tablet inside the package either manually or with an automatic dispenser.
• It can also be used by hanging the tablet pouch near the part/surface to be protected.
• For Protection of inner surface, VCI tablet can be placed inside the I.D. of the metal pipes/tubes.
• Ideally install before the process of corrosion / oxidation starts.
• Seal package well, though not necessarily air tight for optimum benefit.
