SAFEPACK VCI PRE-WASH SOLUTIONSP-FE-WPW is a specially developed multipurpose solution havingneed-designed hi-tech VCI chemicals (volatile corrosion inhibitors)dispersed in water & solvent base. It is ideal for washing/rinsingferrous metal components and parts after final operation and prior topacking and during in-process storage to protect them from corrosion.

SAFEPACK VCI PRE-WASH SOLUTION SP-FE-WPW provides an effective methodof protection for short duration both during in-process storage andafter final operation till the product goes for packing. It protectsmetals through direct contact .The high-tech VCI chemicals deposits on the metal surface and forms aprotective mono-ionic layer which provides protection to the parts fromcorrosion. For optimum results it should be ensured that the parts arecompletely dried and then covered with a polythene sheet, plastic filmor a laminated paper. It thus enables effective short term protectionof ferrous metals against corrosion under adverse conditions includingcontaminants in air such as hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, ammoniaor acid rain.

Method of usage

• Clean the parts to be protected from dirt, dust and other contaminants.
• For optimum effect complete drying of the parts should be ensured.
• It can be applied either by dipping the components or spraying.
• Stir the solution well before use.
• Ensure complete drying of the components.
• For optimum effect cover the components with a suitable packaging material such as a polythene sheet/bag.
• Seal package well, though not necessarily air tight for maximum benefit.
